Sixth Form Entry - Step by Step Admissions Process
Foundationer Boarding (Means-Tested)
- Parents should first complete and return the application form and AS subject choice form. It is recommended that these forms be returned a year before entry or at least before the Sixth Form Open Day in October.
- We will write to you to acknowledge receipt of these forms.
- Nearer to the Open Day, we will send you an invitation to attend.
- Following the Open Day, all candidates will be asked to complete four assessment tasks which match their chosen AS Level subjects. These tasks are published on the CH website shortly after the Open Day with a deadline for submission (normally three weeks after Open Day).
- Invitation for an interview will be sent out in November to a maximum of sixty students. If relevant, candidates are invited to bring a musical instrument, an art portfolio or prepare a short drama piece.
- Parents/candidates are notified in writing whether or not they have been awarded a place by mid December.
- Successful candidates may be invited to take a scholarship assessment for a 20% fee remission.
