Livery Company Support
The support of Livery Companies
and other organisations and charitable bodies both large and small is vital to Christ's Hospital. We value the support and help of the City of London Corporation and our Livery Company donors, many of whom have long historical connections with Christ's Hospital and have offered support both for individual pupils and particular projects at Christ's Hospital.
Recent research shows that out of all the European countries, Britain has the lowest levels of social mobility between the generations. Furthermore, the expansion of higher education since the late 1980s has so far disproportionately benefited those from more affluent backgrounds. By providing children with a stable and supportive boarding environment, not only can they achieve their full potential, but through the rich diversity of activities and experiences Christ's Hospital offers, they can also flourish socially and creatively.
