House Handbooks
There are sixteen 'Avenue' Houses at Christ's Hospital, each providing the term-time home or base for around 45 girls or boys aged 11 to 17 years. In each House, some are day pupils, most are boarders and a few pupils will be from overseas.
In their final year, Upper Sixth Formers (Grecians) move to one of the two mixed Grecians residences although they retain strong links with their original House.
Each House has its own unique character and special traditions and the advice given by House staff to new entrants may differ in small ways. Every year Houseparents produce an introduction to their House – some have separate Handbooks for new Sixth Formers (Deputy Grecians) – and these can be accessed online using the same Username and Password provided to you for the Parents' Forum.
