The atmosphere in all the groups is friendly, informal and welcoming - just turn up to one of the rehearsals and either watch to see what goes on or join in straight away.
Christ's Hospital Choral Society
The Choral Society is an adult choir of over 100 voices, open to anybody from the Horsham area who enjoys singing. The choir has a lot of fun but tackles challenging music.
The choir gives three main concerts a year. The first, in November, normally with an organ or small group of instruments. In March is a performance of a major Choral work with orchestra in Christ's Hospital's main Concert Hall. The final concert is in June and consists of shorter, lighter repertoire. The choir aims to raise sufficient funds through Concert-giving and workshops to contribute to a chosen charity.
The choir holds no auditions, but expects members to be able to sing in tune, and to take music away to practise with the assistance of tapes if they cannot sight-sing.

The Horsham Children's Choir and Youth Choir
The Horsham Children's Choir and Horsham Youth Choir are based at Christ's Hospital but consist entirely of children from the surrounding area. Rehearsals take place on a Friday afternoon during term time and both choirs work separately and combined. There is at least one concert (often two) per term, including regular joint ventures with other choirs from all age ranges. In the Horsham area, the choir is a regular supporter of the children's charity 'Action for Children' and concerts further afield in London (St Paul's Covent Garden) and Worthing have been combined with enjoyable days out. All are welcome to come and 'try us out': no experience is necessary.
