Question Time

This week the Christs's Hospital Debate Society took part in the BBC's Schools Questions & Answers competition. The competition is a part of the Political Literacy and Citizenship Life Skills initiative supported by the Institute for Citizenship, Parliament's Education Service and the BBC. The format uses BBC ONE's Question Time and BBC Radio 4's Any Questions? as a springboard for engaging young people in democratic society and helping them discuss issues that affect them, their communities and the wider world. The speakers were Keira Koroma, Finn McMahon and Dexter Bushell (all Grecians), Lola Seaton Picardie (Deputy Grecian), and Renie Anjeh (Great Erasmus). The pupils decided to debate the question: 'How should we tackle the U.K's youth drug abuse culture?'

We wish them all the best for the competition!
