CH Students Meet Prime Minister

Our Senior Grecian and Second Monitor met Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer on 2 December at the Lord Mayor’s Banquet at Guildhall.

This formal event is held every year to mark the retirement of the previous year’s Lord Mayor of London and is attended by the Prime Minister, who traditionally makes a speech. Christ’s Hospital receives an invitation for two senior students to attend every year.

During the event, the Christ’s Hospital students, along with other guests, heard the Prime Minister’s speech on foreign policy, as well as speeches from the Lord Mayor, the Lord Chancellor and the Bishop of London.
