Part time 20 hours per week
Christ’s Hospital is an independent co-educational boarding and day school set in 1200 acres of rolling countryside just outside Horsham.
We have an opportunity for an experienced live-out housekeeper.
You will provide a cleaning and hospitality service for the Headmaster and his guests and help to ensure the household runs efficiently. As well as general cleaning of the house and Headmaster’s study area the role will involve the preparation of rooms for official guests; liaison with and supervision of visiting tradespeople and assisting at official functions such as dinner parties and receptions.
You must be professional, discreet, able to work on your own initiative and willing to work in a house with domestic pets.
Hours of work are 20 hours per week, generally Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, from 8:30 to 13:30 but you must also be able to work evenings and weekends as required, for which time off in lieu will be given.
Applications should be received by midday on Monday 30th October 2017.
