Museum Volunteer

Closing date for application: 07.12.2017

Museum Volunteer

The Museum is currently embarking upon a project to introduce a new collections management system (Modes Complete) as a key first step towards the Museum’s wider aim of applying for Accreditation with Arts Council England.

We are seeking to recruit a volunteer to help us with this important work. The volunteer will be working with our small team of three part-time staff, an honorary curator, and a number of other volunteers who assist us with a range of different tasks, including:

Preparing data using Microsoft Excel for importing to Modes

Checking and cleaning data after import

Assisting with collection audits and reconciling data

Labelling, safe handling and secure storage of Museum objects

Applications (cv and covering letter) should be emailed to tmh@christs-hospital.org.uk by midday on Thursday 7th December 2017
