To start 31st August 2017
We have a vacancy for Resident Matron to join us from the start of Michaelmas (Autumn) Term 2017. The successful candidate will join a team headed by two resident Houseparents, House Tutors, another Resident Matron and Matrons’ Assistants to help look after approximately 90 pupils within their boarding house. Sensitivity, good organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to work with others are essential to carry out this important role. The post operates mainly in term time.
The two Matrons within each boarding house have a very favourable duty rota with alternate long weekends off duty. This post also gives many opportunities to join in with the community life of the school.
We offer an attractive remuneration package: single person accommodation in a one-bedroom flat is provided; benefits include a stakeholder pension scheme for eligible staff, free on-site parking, low-cost membership of the on-site Sports Centre and some meals are provided in the staff Common Room whilst on duty during term time.
Applications should be received by midday on Thursday 25th May 2017.
