Appointment of Graduate Assistant Chaplain

£12,735 p.a. (Live-in) to start September 2018

Based in Horsham, Christ’s Hospital is a unique co-educational boarding school and charitable Foundation, which provides first class education for over 880 children from all backgrounds, supported by over 400 members of staff. 

We are now looking to recruit a Graduate Chaplain to join our Chaplaincy Team on a one-year placement from 1st September 2018 to 31st August 2019.

A good understanding of Christian Theology and some experience of working with young people in a faith context are essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and developing the Christian union and will assist with Sunday, Midweek and special Chapel Services, as well as other Chapel activities.  Involvement in the boarding and co-curricular life of the school and some teaching are also required. 

The post is residential and single person accommodation is available. Heating, lighting and all meals during term-time will be provided as part of the package.
