A very interesting and exciting opportunity arises at Christ’s Hospital in its search for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Head of Food & Nutrition. The successful candidate must be able to work well within a team and teach the subject from years 7-11 when those pupils, who have chosen to do so, complete the IGCSE exam. The Head of Department will ensure that there is a high standard of teaching, learning and enrichment for the pupils in a new purpose built department at the centre of the school. The positive promotion of the importance of Food and Nutrition among the pupils and within the school should be a priority.
Full participation in the broader life of this busy boarding community is essential and accommodation on site will be available.
Applications should be received by midday on Friday 26 January 2018.
Interviews of the short-listed candidates will be held w/b 5 February.
Christ’s Hospital is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
