Poetry Open Mic

On 8 March, nine of our Deputy Grecians (Year 12) attended a poetry open mic event, at Waterstones in Horsham, organised by the Shelley Memorial Project. The event was in celebration of International Women’s Day and featured poetry readings by local poets Liz Barnes, Kate Collier, Nicola Garrard and Ted Gooda. All of the poetry performed reflected the event’s theme of the strength, resilience and achievements of women.
