Andy West: From Prison Philosophy to BBC Drama

On 29 January, Christ’s Hospital welcomed philosophy teacher and author Andy West for a philosophy lecture on how to rehabilitate prisons. Andy, who has been teaching philosophy in prisons for 10 years, is the author of The Life Inside: A Memoir of Prison, Family and Learning to be Free. The book has been adapted into a major six-part BBC drama series, Waiting for the Out, which is now airing on television.
