On 9 June our DG (Year 12) Medical Society students enjoyed an inspiring Surgical Skills Workshop led by Dr Judy Evans, Old Blue and Council Member. The session provided a fascinating insight into surgical practice, with students learning to suture surgical training pads, perfect one-handed knot tying, explore effective communication when breaking bad news to patients, and experience the challenges of simulated laparoscopic surgery.
