Author Visit

On 21 November, the award-winning author Caroline Lawrence, best known for The Roman Mysteries series of historical novels for children, visited Christ’s Hospital.

Her talk, entitled ‘Journey to the Underworld’, launched a cross-curricular project between English and classics, which sees Second Form (Year 7) students creating their own short story about a hero who journeys to the underworld to solve a mystery.

Our students were delighted to meet Caroline, who commented that she was ‘very impressed by the enthusiasm and politeness of the students.’
