GCSE success!

Christ’s Hospital is celebrating an ecellent set of GCSE results, with the 2026 cohort achieving impressive outcomes across more than 1,200 entries and a diverse curriculum, reflecting their ambition and determination.

More than a third of all grades were awarded at 9–8, while over half were at 9–7, the equivalent of A*/A. Almost three-quarters of grades were 9–6 or above, demonstrating the strength and consistency of achievement across the year group.

The breadth of high attainment was particularly impressive. Two in every five students achieved at least seven grades at Grade 7 or above, while more than one in seven entries secured the highest possible Grade 9.

There were also some exceptional individual performances. Fifteen students achieved nine or more grades at 8/9, with an outstanding nine students achieving the highest grades in every subject they studied.
