CH Band Performs at Historic Lady Mayor’s Show

On 8 November, the Christ’s Hospital Band proudly took part in the Lady Mayor’s Show in London – the first in the event’s 800-year history. The procession celebrated the appointment of Alderman Dame Susan Langley DBE as the City of London’s first Lady Mayor.

As entry number 111, the Band marched through the capital in their famous Tudor uniform, delighting the crowds with their energy, precision and musicianship.

Taking part in the Lord Mayor’s Show is a much-loved tradition for Christ’s Hospital, and this year’s historic occasion made the experience especially memorable. The students represented the school with pride, professionalism and spirit – a true celebration of music and community.
