Chemistry Olympiad

Earlier this year, senior students from GR (Year 13), DG (Year 12) and even two from GE (Year 11), take part in the UK Chemistry Olympiad organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry, with some superb results.

• 15 pupils achieved a bronze award,
• 21 pupils achieved a silver – notably, amongst these silvers was Elden of the GE (Year 11),
• Five achieved gold awards, putting them in the top 8% of 15,000 participants. Well done Andrew, Toby, Momo, Vincent and Emmanuel.

Many congratulations to all who took part in this very strong showing of extracurricular chemistry.
