Christ’s Hospital Awards Prestigious Academic Buttons

Last term we were proud to award 22 of our Grecian students one of the school’s highest academic honours: the Academic Buttons. This longstanding CH tradition recognises truly exceptional scholars in the fnal year and comes with a distinctive adaptation to the CH uniform – large silver buttons depicting our founder King Edward VI, along with velvet cuffs.

Recipients must demonstrate excellence in four areas: outstanding natural academic ability, consistently high achievement over time, strong performance across other subjects and a clear, developing specialism driven by genuine interest.

The Academic Buttons remain a prestigious honour, and we hope the award inspires others to pursue their studies with the same rigour and enthusiasm.
