CH pupils enjoyed an unforgettable Alpine adventure in the first week of the Christmas holidays with a week-long ski trip to Les Deux Alpes, one of France’s most popular high-altitude resorts.
Travelling overnight on 13 December, the group arrived at the Atmosphère Hotel the following morning, settling in quickly before ski fitting, exploring the resort and enjoying a relaxed first evening together. Over the course of the week, pupils spent up to five hours a day on the slopes, developing their skiing skills and confidence in stunning mountain conditions.
The packed programme continued off the snow, with evenings featuring laser tag, Snakegliss night sledging, karaoke, quizzes, a talent night and opportunities to explore and shop in Les Deux Alpes. A final day of skiing was followed by prizes and awards, celebrating both progress and team spirit, before the group began the journey home.
The trip, which concluded with a safe return to Christ’s Hospital on Sunday 21 December, was a highlight of the Christmas break and a memorable experience for all involved.
