Daniel Lett Fund supports six students to attend law summer school
Six DG (Year 12) students have been awarded places at a law summer school through the support of the Daniel Lett Fund.
The fund will enable the students to attend a prestigious programme run by Debate Chamber, where they will explore key areas of law, develop advocacy and debating skills and gain an insight into university-style teaching. The experience is designed to introduce students to legal study and the profession, helping them build confidence and deepen their understanding of the legal world.
The Daniel Lett Fund was established through a bequest from former pupil Daniel Lett (Old Blue). Its purpose is to support students and former pupils who wish to pursue a career in law – particularly those aspiring to become barristers and who might otherwise find the costs of training prohibitive.
Opportunities such as this help students explore potential career paths while developing valuable skills in critical thinking, argument and public speaking. We wish the six students every success and look forward to hearing about their experiences when they return.
