English Chamber Orchestra Workshop

Our professional ensemble in partnership, the English Chamber Orchestra, visited CH for an afternoon of masterclasses and side-by-side rehearsal in preparation for the upcoming Angus Ross Gala Concert on 29 February.

Members of the ECO worked with our student soloists ahead of their concerto performances, before a short recital from the professional musicians. Continuing the inspiration to our students, the afternoon ended with a full orchestra rehearsal, the professional musicians sitting in and amongst our students, encouraging the home side to ‘up their game’ and get a taste of professional standards.

An exciting afternoon of music-making and one which augurs well for a barnstorming concert on 17 March!
