Hockey Preseason

First team captain, Judith, writes:

Preseason was an intense and exciting series of training sessions. It allowed the squad to get back into hockey after a long summer, making a team of well-rounded players.  We improved our pressing and out letting, as well as putting a strong focus on our warmups, mobility exercises and rehabilitation.

We had the opportunity to watch a top level hockey match between East Grinstead and Sevenoaks, inspiring the team to be driven and improve together.

Preseason concluded with matches against a team of Old Blues. It was incredible to play against players from previous years whom we have idolised in the past. Not only was it enjoyable to catch up with Old Blues but our competitive spirit was also ignited!
