Independent School of the Year Finalist

Following our earlier announcement, we are delighted to announce that Christ’s Hospital has been selected as a finalist in the Performing Arts category of the Independent Schools of the Year 2024 awards.

The winners of each category will be announced at an awards ceremony on 8 October.

Music and drama are a huge part of life at Christ’s Hospital; the marching band performs four times a week and appears at high-profile events such as the Lord Mayor’s Show in London each year. Over 600 music lessons take place each week, with lots of amazing opportunities to perform live music available to students. Meanwhile drama students get to perform in the purpose-built theatre in top-class productions such as Chicago, West Side Story and Les Misérables.

Independent Schools of the Year 2024 is an awards programme run by Independent School Parent magazine. The awards are designed to showcase schools’ success stories and celebrate the extraordinary and compelling student experience they provide.
