Careers Events

The careers department runs careers lunches for our sixth form pupils, careers teas for Year 10 pupils and above plus careers hot seating events which are open to all pupils who sign up to attend.  Recently, we have held careers lunches on Medicine and Health Care, Engineering, Law, Education, Entrepreneurs of the Future and Media. The hot seating events have included TECH, Business, Politics and Journalism.

In the evenings there are networking events for sixth form pupils. Year 11 pupils attend a careers keynote address and careers ‘speed’ dating event in the Summer term, which is run by the Careers Department and Old Blues. Year 12 pupils attend an Apply Day, which is run by key note speakers including admission tutors, specialists and experts from industry.

Pupils also have the opportunity for career visits which has included a visit to the Old Bailey.
