Law Debate

On 9 February, we welcomed back four Old Blues to our annual Law Debate: Sir Rupert Jackson, Paul Chaplin, Tamas Lorinczy and James Tyler. It was a pleasure to see them return to Christ’s Hospital to share their expertise with current students.

Students from both the Law Society and Debating Society debated the motion ‘This House believes that international law cannot be effectively enforced.’ Sir Rupert judged the debate, selecting Bea and Jayden as the winners and awarded Jayden best speaker of the evening.

Our students benefited greatly from the insight gained from discussions with our visitors and their feedback on their speeches.
