·         Congratulations to Phoebe (GR/Year 13) and Lucy (DG/Year 12) who, following choral courses this summer, have been invited to take part in some high level singing. Lucy was part of the choir that was formed especially to audition new conductors for the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, and Phoebe has joined Rodolfus Choir, made up of the most talented alumni of the Rodolfus Choral Courses.

·         After a competitive audition process (“we were overwhelmed by the high standard of playing and the number of applications we received” said the organisation), Max (DG/Year 12) has been offered a place as a pianist to join the National Youth Jazz Orchestra Academy Big Band. This is a tremendous achievement, richly deserved.

·         Many congratulations to Molly (GR/Year13) who, following a competitive audition process, has been recommended for a Choral Scholarship at University College, Oxford. Gaining a place and the scholarship is obviously dependent on a successful academic interview and grades, but it is an excellent achievement in and of itself. In addition, Molly has just been awarded the DipABRSM on the French horn. Two fantastic accolades for a hard-working and talented music scholar – well done Molly!
