A Roaring Success

Share

On Wednesday 14 May Jonathan and Angela Scott, ‘the big cat people’, delivered a talk to LE entitled Sacred Nature: Reconnecting People to Our Planet.
Old Blue Jonathan (PrepA, ColA 59-68) and Angela are award winning wildlife photographers, film makers and authors who have made their name documenting the lives of lions, leopards and cheetahs in the Maasai Mara. They are the only couple to have won the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition as individuals.

They showed spectacular video and photos from their expeditions in savannah, jungle, oceans, mountains, deserts and Antarctica.

Jonathan spoke about the importance of connecting with nature. He also highlighted the amazing opportunities afforded by education at Christ’s Hospital, and encouraged students to follow their dreams, as with perseverance anything is possible.
