Old Blue Simon Chadwick (BaB, LaB 67-73) inducted into the Market Research Hall of Fame

In July 2025 Simon Chadwick (BaB, LaB 67-73), was humbled to be inducted into the Market Research Hall of Fame, winning the 2025 MRC Lifetime Achievement Award. To date only 108 people have received such an honour, spanning 115 years of the industry’s existence. Simon said ‘It is truly amazing to sit alongside such giants as George Gallup, Arthur Nielson and David Ogilvy.’

Since the first market research company was formed in 1911 by Charles Coolidge Parlin, the industry has grown to $130 billion (around £97.5 billion) in annual revenues and is now an indispensable asset to so many companies, not-for-profits and governments around the world. Its ability to read, interpret and predict attitudes and behaviours that lead to innovation, social reform and government for the good of the people is fundamental to the functioning of  modern society.
