Max Moorcroft (LHA, GrE 15-22) recently won the Woodland Trust’s Igniting Innovation competition, which funds young people to carry out an initiative that will have a positive impact to nature and people.
The project, “CitySprout”, is a card game appreciating urban plants, and aims to help people notice the natural beauty on their doorstep despite having limited access to nature. The Woodland Trust will fund £6000 to make “CitySprout” a reality and it should be printed by this time next year.
Max said “I am extremely excited about this opportunity” and is looking forward to sharing the game with us once it is released.
