Students Enjoy Inspiring Visit to Wimbledon

On 2 December, PE A level students enjoyed a memorable and insightful day at Wimbledon, gaining a closer look at the world-famous sporting venue and its global impact.

The visit began with a session on Wimbledon’s international brand, where students explored how the Championships has evolved into one of the most recognisable sporting events in the world. They then enjoyed a guided tour of the All England Club, taking in the iconic courts and learning more about the operations behind the tournament.

The day concluded with time in the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, where students explored the rich history of the competition – from its Victorian beginnings to the modern Championships.

It proved a fabulous experience, giving students both academic insight and a deeper appreciation of this unique sporting institution.
