Administrator
Based in Horsham, Christ’s Hospital is a unique co-educational boarding school and charitable Foundation which provides first class education to around 900 children from all backgrounds, supported by over 400 members of staff. We currently have a vacancy for a full-time administrator to join our small but busy Fundraising & Alumni Department as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities in this role are providing administrative support to the Alumni and Development Support Manager. This will include responding to incoming enquiries, updating supporter details on the database, producing written outgoing communications, financial processing and reporting, assisting in the organisation and running of events, and providing some administrative support to the wider team.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of literacy and numeracy, and experience of working in an administrative role with a variety of software packages, ideally Microsoft Office applications. Some experience of financial and/or event administration and working with a CRM database would be an advantage, although not essential. Applicants should evidence in their application how they can fulfil the requirements of the role. The role is office based with occasional weekend and evening working required, for which time off in lieu is given. Salary from £21,000 per annum depending on experience.
The post holder will work Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. We offer the opportunity to join a stakeholder pension scheme, free on-site parking, free lunch during term time and discounted membership of the on-site Sports Centre.
