We are seeking to appoint a Chief Examination Invigilator to undertake invigilation and other examination-related duties, under instruction from the Examinations Officer.

Your key responsibility will be to ensure a calm examination environment, fully in compliance with the requirements of Joint Council for Qualifications /Cambridge International Examinations.

Working under the direction of, and reporting to, the Examinations Officer you will be required to oversee the examination process from setting up the examination environment; checking candidate identities; the opening and distribution of exam materials; overseeing the exam itself and then the collection, collation and secure onward transmission of the completed scripts.  You will be assisted by a team of Assistant Invigilators, who will be under your direction.

This role would particularly suit someone with a teaching/education background who can be available throughout the main public examination periods.

Prior to starting the role the successful candidate will be required to undertake a short period of training on JCQ/CIE requirements, which will last between 2 and 4 hours and is likely to take place during April.
