£31,091 p.a. basic plus
£1,266 On Call Allowance and
£636 Fire Response Allowance
Reporting to the Building Maintenance Manager, you will be City & Guilds A&B/1&2 (or later equivalent) and IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, qualified in all aspects of electrical work and willing to complete subsequent relevant training/re-training. Applicants should have at least 5 years’ experience gained on both domestic and large commercial installations preferably in a School, University, FE College or NHS environment.
The position requires you to work alone using your initiative to complete works to programme, although you should be comfortable working alongside other tradespersons as the need arises. A key part of the role is to successfully identify the appropriate response to a maintenance request and deliver that response professionally and sympathetically in accordance with the School’s needs.
Hours of work are 40 hours per week, 8:00 to 4:30 from Monday to Friday. Uniform provided.
