FOOD AND NUTRITION ASSISTANT
Actual Salary £8,550 per annum excl holiday element
(based on 25 hours per week)
Permanent, part time (up to 25 hours per week), term time position to start as soon as possible
We require an experienced and enthusiastic individual to provide high quality cleaning, logistical and administrative support to the Food and Nutrition team in our brand-new, purpose built Food and Nutrition department.
You will need previous experience of cleaning and caretaking-type duties and a genuine interest in cooking/catering. Experience of working in a catering and/or school environment is desirable.
The successful candidate will be responsible for daily, weekly and other cleaning schedules within the department, assist with stock control, storage and ordering of all supplies. They will also be required to assist with the setting up, layout and tidying up for all activities within the department
Hours of work are up to 5 hours per day Monday to Friday in term time (33 weeks per year), plus 2-3 days in the week before and after each term, giving a total of 36 working week per year.
This is a growing department and the needs will be evaluated over the next few months with the possibility of enhancement to the role and/or additional hours if the selected candidate is interested. Additional hours within the Cleaning department possible, including during the school holidays if desired.
