Food and Nutrition Technician

We require an experienced and enthusiastic individual to provide high quality cleaning, logistical and administrative support to the Food and Nutrition team in our brand-new, purpose built Food and Nutrition department.

You will need previous experience of cleaning and caretaking-type duties and a genuine interest in cooking/catering.  Experience of working in a catering and/or school environment is desirable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily, weekly and other cleaning schedules within the department, assist with stock control, storage and ordering of all supplies.  They will also be required to assist with the setting up, layout and tidying up for all activities within the department

Hours of work are 7.5 hours per day Monday to Friday in term time (33 weeks per year), plus 2-3 days in the week before and after each term, giving a total of 36 working week per year.  Actual Salary £20,922 per annum (based on FTE of £26,617 per annum) for 37.5 hours per week for 36 weeks per year. Permanent, full time, term time position to start as soon as possible

Additional hours within the Cleaning department possible, including during the school holidays if desired.
