Based in Horsham, Christ’s Hospital is the UK’s leading charitable school and the country’s most generous bursary charity. The school’s mission is to challenge inequality through transformative education. We support a large number of disadvantaged students, with over 640 receiving free or very low-cost boarding places each year – more than any other organisation in the UK. We currently have a vacancy for a full-time administrator to join our busy Fundraising & Alumni team, raising funds to enable more young people to benefit from a truly transformative education.

The post holder will work Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week and report to the Partnerships Manager. Key responsibilities in this role are providing administrative support to the team, processing donations, assisting in events, and working with our database. This role could be suitable for someone wishing to gain some experience of fundraising in the charity sector or alternatively for an administrator with the relevant experience.

Among other attributes and experience, the successful candidate will have a good standard of literacy and numeracy and some administrative experience. It is essential that applicants have experience of dealing appropriately with a range of people and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience of managing social media and web content is desirable.

Applicants should evidence in their application how they meet the full requirements of the role. This role is office based and due to the nature of work there is no opportunity for home working.  Occasional weekend working is a requirement, for which time of in lieu is given.
