Graduate Assistant
Christ’s Hospital is looking for a versatile graduate to join its busy body of Academic Staff. The successful candidates must participate in all aspects of school life including taking part in some teaching and/or broader curriculum coaching or supervision as well as pastoral support of pupils in and out of lessons. While there is no specific subject specialism required, as these roles are general in nature, we are keen to hear from applicants who are able, through qualification or experience, able to support a variety of areas of our academic and/or broader curriculum offering. This is a temporary position for up to one academic year, starting end of August 2021.
A positive approach to learning, a caring and enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work in a team and a willingness to participate fully in the broader life of this busy boarding community is essential. The successful candidate will be required to undertake at least one evening duty in a boarding house each week. This is an ideal post for an outstanding individual considering teaching as a profession in future. All meals during term-time when on duty provided as part of the package but we are unable to offer accommodation on site. The salary will be paid across the whole contract.
