Head of Basketball
Christ’s Hospital is looking to appoint an inspiring, enthusiastic and dynamic level 2 qualified Head of Basketball to join its extensive Sports department from January 2023 (or as soon after as possible). The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of Basketball at Christ’s Hospital and develop a Basketball coaching policy across all year groups; organise a comprehensive and realistic fixtures list and take responsibility for ensuring transport and logistics, refreshments and court bookings. They will also coach a range of basketball teams, days and times to be discussed at interview.
Duties will include the allocation of staff; organisation of regular in-service training for Basketball coaching staff; organisation and ordering of Basketball kit and equipment and the preparation and administration of the annual budget for Basketball.
A responsibility allowance of £1,044 per annum is payable for this role. Coaching hours are paid at the rate of £24.77 per hour.
