An opportunity has opened up for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Head of French for January 2023 for up to 12 months to join a strong modern languages department. The successful candidate must be able to work well within a team and ideally have previous experience of managing or leading others. They will be required to teach French to A level. The ability to teach Spanish, German and/or Mandarin to GCSE would be advantageous.
Applicants should evidence in the personal statement how they meet the requirements of the role and person specification. Salary is commensurate with experience and paid in accordance with the Christs’ Hospital Teachers’ Salary scale up to £43,701 per annum as well as an allowance of £7,400 for being a Head of Department. Full participation in the broader life of this busy boarding community is essential and accommodation on site is provided.
