Based in Horsham, Christ’s Hospital is a unique co-educational boarding school and charitable Foundation which provides first class education to around 900 children from all backgrounds, supported by over 400 members of staff.

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and passionate Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly medical centre team from April 2021.  This role is part time, term time only on a temporary or permanent basis.

Playing a key role in the School Health Centre, you will be expected to assist with the provision of a professional and caring nursing service for all members of the School. You will help to provide a first class service to the clients of the Health Centre, maintaining the highest possible standards of care. You will assist with the care and observation of students requiring admission to the Health Centre, including those with suspected COVID-19, the administration of vaccinations and immunisations as required.  You will work on a shift system which will include some evenings and weekends.

You should be able to cope with periodic peaks in workload, stay calm under pressure and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Successful applicants will have experience in health care and an NVQ level 3 qualification in Health or Health and Social care would be an advantage.
