Temporary Cleaners

£9.00 per hour

Applications are invited to join our busy Housekeeping team on a temporary full time or part time basis, with an anticipated start date in August 2020. We currently expect these posts to be until December but subject to review. Previous experience of cleaning in a residential school, commercial or school environment is helpful, although not essential.

These temporary vacancies are in our PA Touch Point Team where full time staff work mainly 06:30 to 14:15 with occasional 10:15 to 18:00 shifts. This team is brought together as a result of the temporary additional cleaning requirements we have identified arising from COVID-19.

Team members are required to work outside of these hours on occasion. Full time working is typically 35-40 hours per week. The working pattern for cleaning teams is 5 out of 7 days which includes regular weekend working.

All posts are subject to a probationary period of six months.

Please note among other pre-employment checks, successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check. This is a check for cautions, warnings, reprimands and convictions (including spent convictions) and a search of the DBS Children’s Barred List which ensures that a candidate is not barred from working with vulnerable groups.
