About the role
You will join CH’s small, ambitious development team and raise income through major gifts and legacy giving. You will work with a wide range of supporters and prospects including their alumni network (Old Blues), non-affiliate high value donors, companies and foundations.
You will be responsible for managing CH’s crucial Governorship programme and developing relationships that inspire support whilst also advancing the interests and impact of the school. You will also oversee the 1552 Society legacy giving programme. You will be supported by the Development Administrator who you will manage and mentor.
About you
We are looking for a confident relationship fundraiser, with a proven track record of raising 5 and 6 figure gifts from major donors/partners. Your background may also come from a more general fundraising role where you have worked with high profile supporters/ambassadors.
You will have excellent communications skills with the ability to engage supporters in a way that brings them closer to CH’s vision for the future. You will be positive, diplomatic with good to attention to detail able to manage expectations whilst providing exemplary stewardship.
Your ability to be visible and develop long lasting relationships will be key to your success in this role.
