Temporary, part time and term time

 Salary : £9.50 per hour (excl holiday element) 

Applications are invited for this temporary, part time post working Monday to Saturday in term time (excluding Fri/Sat leave weekends) from 3pm to 7pm.

The anticipated start date is in September 2020 and we currently expect this post to last for one term i.e. to Christmas break but this is subject to review. Previous experience of cleaning in a medical setting, residential school, commercial or school environment is helpful, although not essential.

This temporary vacancy has arisen as a result our response to COVID 19. Among other things outlined in the Job Description, the range of duties requires the post holder to work in our isolation ward where pupils with infection/ suspected infection are cared for. Relevant PPE is supplied.

All posts are subject to a probationary period of six months.

Benefits include equivalent 6.2 weeks holiday (inc. Bank Holidays) per annum, a stakeholder pension scheme for eligible staff, free on-site parking, free lunch when pupils are on site and uniform. Although there is a local train station, own transport would be beneficial.

Please note among other pre-employment checks, successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check. This is a check for cautions, warnings, reprimands and convictions (including spent convictions) and a search of the DBS Children’s Barred List which ensures that a candidate is not barred from working with vulnerable groups.
