Permanent, Full Time 40 Hours per week
Salary £22,620 pa + Fire Response allowance of £623 pa
Applications are invited to join our busy Buildings Maintenance team on a full time basis. Reporting to the Building Maintenance Manager you will have hands on practical experience of general maintenance, ideally gained in a school, university, FE College or NHS environment.
You should be comfortable managing high volumes of reactive work such as furniture repairs and minor building maintenance tasks. You will also be required to assist the team’s skilled maintenance personnel in their work.
Experience is more important than formal qualifications for this role but you must have good written and verbal communication skills; be confident using hand and small power tools and comfortable working at height.
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm although team members are required to work outside of these hours on occasion
All posts are subject to a probationary period of six months.
