School Health Care Assistant (permanent nights)

Required from September 2020 for up to one year

Full Time (3-4 night shifts per week, including weekends), Term Time only

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who want to join our team to support care for inpatients at night, for up to 12 months, working on a shift basis.

Playing a key role in the School Health Centre, you will be expected to assist with the provision of a professional and caring nursing service for all members of the School. You will help to provide a first class service to the clients of the Health Centre, maintaining the highest possible standards of care. You will assist with the care and observation of students requiring admission to the Health Centre, including those with suspected COVID-19, the administration of vaccinations and immunisations as required.

You should be able to cope with periodic peaks in workload, stay calm under pressure and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Successful applicants will have experience in health care and an NVQ level 3 qualification in Health or Health and Social care would be an advantage.
