Nursery Assistant (level 3 qualifed)

Required from August / September 2020

We are looking for a level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant to join the small, friendly team in our on site Pre-school, ‘Bluecoats Nursery’.

The post is during state term time only with possibility of some work during school holidays. The position include duties both within the Nursery and Bluecoat Sports Centre Kid’s Club. The work includes welcoming children on their arrival, teaching children aged approximately 3 – 5 years old, assisting with the planning of the curriculum, liaising with parents and carers.

The successful candidate will work 483 hours per annum. This covers an average week of 12.5 hours per week as well as additional hours for termly staff meetings, parents evenings and planning meetings.

Flexibility, good communication skills and the confidence to work with children are essential.
