Project Officer – Sustainability and Infrastructure
Reporting to the Property Director you will play a key role in the School’s ten-year strategy, for coordinating and managing projects focused on sustainability initiatives and infrastructure development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of projects that cover these areas. Your role will involve project planning, monitoring, implementation, and evaluation, with a specific focus on sustainability strategies and infrastructure improvements.
You will have proven experience in project management, preferably in sustainability-focused initiatives or infrastructure development projects. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and industry partners. You will have exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ideally you will have some knowledge of sustainable building practice, renewable energy technologies and/or green infrastructure.
This is a permanent, full time, year round position, though some flexibility may be available on working hours and/or working weeks per year for the right candidate. Some limited remote working is possible but this role is based at the school just outside Horsham, West Sussex. FTE salary c. £45,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
