Required from April 2021

Term Time only (33 weeks per year).  Salary based on Band 6 AfC (FTE c. £36,500, actual full time c. £28,300)

We require a Registered Nurse to join a small, friendly team of school nurses, housekeepers and administrative staff. Our school Medical Centre is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days a week during term time and generally staff work a mixture of day and night shifts.

The successful candidate will work a full time shift pattern of 46 hours per week, including evenings and overnight. Work includes caring for pupils in our in-patient unit, taking daily surgeries and being available to give health advice to the pupils.  Part time hours also available (please state on the application form the hours you are looking for)

Flexibility, good communication skills and the confidence to work unsupervised are essential.  Applicants must be able to evidence their RGN qualification and RN Child is desirable.
