An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, talented and capable musician and teacher to assume the full-time role of School Organist at Christ’s Hospital from January or April 2023. This position would suit someone at the early stages of their career or a more experienced practitioner.

In addition to playing for Chapel and accompanying rehearsals as required, the School Organist will be expected to teach the organ, piano, and theory.

Salary is commensurate with experience and paid in accordance with the Christs’ Hospital Teachers’ Salary scale which currently ranges from £28,218 – £43,701 per annum.  Full participation in the broader life of this busy boarding community is essential and accommodation on site is available.
